On December 7 1941 at 7:53 a Japanese plane attacked the American fleet as it layed at the anchor in Pearl Harbor.About 40 seconds later a second wave of war planes attacked the Pearl Harbor.Without a declaration of war from the Japanese the attacks still went on and it also started coming in complete suprises to our American Nation which was really bad for the citizens where the attacks happened.(World war 2 Pearl Harbor)

Early the next morning, a Japanese dive-bomber swooped very low but rite over Pearl Harbor the largest United States naval base in the whole pacific.For a whole hour and a half,the Japanese planes were barely disturbed by the United States air craft guns and blasted from target to target.(Donzer)Pearl_Harbor_Cover.jpg
The planes had came at 7:53 am and the second plane had hit at 8:55. By 9:55 hit the whole attack was all over but it left 2,403 people dead there was 188 planes that got destroyed by the other planes."Approximately 3 hours later", the Japanese planes started a day long attack on American facilities in the philippines.Although they were stunned by the attack on Pearl Harbor, the pacific fleet's aircraft carriers, also they had submarines but most importantly it's fuel oil storage facilities emerge(attack on pearl harbor).

The Japanese military leaders recongnized that American navol strength as the chief deternet to the war with the United States.By september 1941, the Japanese had practically completed their secret plans for a huge assault against Malaya,also the philippiness,and the Netherlands East Indies, to be coorinated with a very devastating blow on the pacific fleet at Pearl Harbor in the Hawaiian Island which at the time was Oahu(Pearl Harbor).
